MPM Krav Maga - Self-Defense

Krav Maga is a self-defense system that was developed in the mid-20th century. It goes back to Imrich Lichtenfeld. Krav Maga uses punching and kicking techniques, but also gripping techniques and ground fighting. The military version was developed for the Israeli army. Today there are also somewhat more moderate variants for security personnel and the civilian sector. The basics of Krav Maga are easy to learn. It is not a classic martial art and there are no competitions because it is so effective in its application. However, the training is very demanding and strengthens the entire body.

In contrast to many other martial arts, Krav Maga achieves training success very quickly. Because of the immense effectiveness of this self-defense system, this goes hand in hand with a high level of responsibility. For this reason, we have decided that our participants must be at least 18 years old.

However, fitness is an important component of training. Krav Maga is a full body sport. In addition to muscle building and condition, mobility, coordination and falling techniques are trained.

The mindset of the participants is positively influenced by the increased skills and physical experience. This boosts self-confidence enormously.
